Need help finding birth of child and death of mother.
This is @Steven Bryan message that I copied and put into this group. Please refer to Steven for any assistance you can offer him. This is from the Australian Group.
The missionary journal of Elder Willard S. Burton shows that Mary Beatrice Harvey (KWJK-MT7), age 17, had a child (GVC6-DKB) with her step-father Samuel Warren Harvey (LHX8-MKD). The name and gender of the baby was not recorded in Elder Burton's journal or in the Launceston Branch membership records. Launceston Branch membership records show that Samuel was excommunicated for his conduct on 27 August 1899. Mary was not excommunicated. Elder Scott W. Anderson's missionary journal shows that their relationship was absolutely non-consensual. The name and gender of the baby is currently unknown. With certainty, the child was born in 1899. What is not certain is where the child was born. Probably in Tasmania, but this is conjecture. Also, three years later on 26 June 1902, Ancestry and Libraries Tasmania shows that Mary mysteriously passed away at age 21 in Launceston, Tasmania. Ancestry and Libraries Tasmania shows her name as Mary Beatrice Williams. Williams was her birth mother's maiden name. Cause of death is currently unknown. Launceston Branch membership records confirm that she passed away on 26 June 1902 in Launceston.
I have searched all of the obvious places for the name, gender and DOB of the child as well as the cause of death for Mary and have come up with nothing. So I created this discussion as a last resort.
Thank you.

Steven:
Initially, I have not had much success in locating additional information. However, I noticed that Mary Beatrice Harvey had several siblings listed in Family Tree. I emailed several of the sources that had contributed information on Mary's siblings. One of these sources provided the following response:
Hallo Randy,
Mary Beatrice Williams died at the Launceston General Hospital on 26 June 1902. I have checked Trove (the digitised newspapers site for Australia) and nothing in family notices for Mary Beatrice Williams or a Mary Beatrice Harvey.
I also checked the Tasmanian Pioneer Index which covers the period to 31 December 1899. It is in a CD rom format, and enables more versatile searching than the libraries Tasmania, Tasmanian Names Index.
I searched for a child, surname Williams, mother named Mary and then for a mother named Beatrice. Similarly for a child surname Harvey. No results.
However there is a child named Milton Stanley Harvey born 17 February 1899 in Launceston, father: Samuel Warren Harvey and Mary Ethel (nee Cowdery). This is Samuel Warren Harvey's second wife. You describe Mary Beatrice Williams as his step daughter, the child of his first wife, born before he and Elizabeth Williams married in 1883.
I have checked the online index of the Carr Villa Cemetery (major cemetery for Launceston) and there is no burial of a Mary Beatrice Harvey or Williams in 1902, so she must have been buried elsewhere.
Not all births were registered, so this may have been the case for the child mentioned in the missionary journal. It is also possible it may have been stillborn, such births were generally not recorded.
Sorry I cannot help more.
The only suggestion I have if you have a spare $50 to $60 AUD is to purchase her death certificate. Tasmanian certificates of death are often very sparse in the information they provide, but that is the only thing not yet examined.

I hope the information Ken has provided will be useful. If you haven't already you may check into where Mary was actually buried, any information about Mary's son contained on her death certificate if you don't currently have a copy and perhaps more about Milton Stanley Harvey.
I look forward to hearing if any of the information provided above was helpful.
