'Bug' in Record Transcript?

@Mark McKenzie_1 Have you looked for an Edit button and tried to correct it yourself? Sometimes it is an option and sometimes it isn't.
If you can't edit it, can you send a link to the location - not snippets - and I will go take a look and see if I can correct it. If not, I know who to send it to.

@David A Wilson Yes… transcript edit function does work, but my actual question is to why the 'preview' in the Full Text Search Results list is 'correct' where as the transcript in the 'full' view is not….
Here's the record link

My example images didn't seem to process correctly. Let's try again…
Here is the 'preview' as shown in the Results list….
And here is what is shown in the record….

@Mark McKenzie_1 I will check with the engineers but I would guess it was done with AI which is definitely not 100% accurate.

@David A Wilson Not sure about your 'AI' comment. I have not seen this behavior before where the 'Preview' transcript is not identical to the actual transcript

@Mark McKenzie_1 Thanks Mark. I suppose there could be a number of reasons why that happened and I am not sure we can even track it down but I will send it to one of the other support missionaries to see what she can figure out.

@David A Wilson In the hopes of providing some clarity from my end…. Here is a Link to a FTS query as an example

@Mark McKenzie_1 I head back from another missionary that deals with lots of data issues and this is what she said:
"..the transcript is generated trying to match the key words. If you remove the space between Mc and Carty, the transcript is correct: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS4Y-LQ71-4?view=fullText&keywords=Daniel%20Waldron%2CJohn%20McCarty&lang=en&groupId="
I don't agree with how it was implemented - the transcript should match the word in the image but that is what she thinks is happening.

@David A Wilson Not so sure about the feedback you received. Here is a FTS query result using a space e.g. john mc carty….
Which is what I'd expect, but looking at the image and associated transcript I see this which does not match the transcript 'snip' as shown in the results list….
If I modify the FTS query by removing the space this is what happens
Something looks 'broken' to me
