DNA
How many here have done their DNA and been successful in locating anyone? I am going to do mine, but have been told not to expect any results. Some of my Cousins have not found any Italian links in their DNA.

It may depend on where you test. Ancestry does not have many Italian testers in their database. But if you test with Ancestry and download your raw results and upload them to MyHeritage, you may get quite a few matches from European testers.
