Search
This is a suggestion: When you are in your CET the system should allow you to do a quick search for a family member by their name. Right now I have to remember what branch of the family they are on and then find them and add what source I want to them. It would be much for onvenience if I had a search window where I could type in "John Athony Jones" and it took me right to my family member in my tree. Mind you NOT a search of all of family search just of my CET tree.

I, too, cannot use the Find feature in my CET. I have had my tree uploaded a couple of days, should be settled, but have to search by going up and down the tree for my person. Need to be able to search by name. Just uploaded Source (Under Memories) and took forever to link all the people in my Bible.

@Steven Howell_2 and @Carolyn Gibbons_2 There may be two ways you can already do this…
- While in your CET if you choose the "Find" option on the sub navigation menu this will take you to a search which shows your CET name. If you enter the search criteria from this method it will just search your current CET. This method only will find deceased persons.
- Second method is another option with is also on the sub navigation called "Person List". This is a quick type ahead search feature to filter to names you want to find. You should be able to type and find the person who you are looking for, including living persons not found in our search system.
Hope this helps. Let me know if this meets your needs or not.

What is the sub navigation menu?

@Carolyn Gibbons_2 The subnavigation menu is the menu under the FamilySearch logo at the top of your page. The first thing on that menu is the name of the tree you are using (FamilySearch Tree, FamilyGroup Tree, CET). On that same line you will see "Find" and "Person List". If you have any further questions, please post them. Thank you for your feedback and testing early release CET.

Not sure where to put this but…
I am having a hard time straightening out my uploaded GEDCom. One problem I really have is census items. I, in my database, have more information than the census entry lets me use. I put in for instance for my great-grandfather Jefferson Miles Dougherty in the 1900 census, taken 12 Jun 1900, Crawford Precinct, Dawes, Nebraska, United States this entry: as Jefferson D Daugherty, 35, head of household, working as a farmer and in stock, living with wife and children. He has been married for 15 years. I also am having a problem attaching the census records from Ancestry (most of mine are from there) so it will attach all people on the form. I guess I am just not using the CET correctly.
