Wetzikon ZH - baptism - 1808 - Jenta - Hans Jakob (has been corrected … see further down)

on you give some information on Hans Jakob Jenta (15.05.1808-03.01.1872). He married (according to Billeter) on 16.02.1829 Margaretha Graf (22.09.1805-14.05.1870). On this Billeter sheet there are no details about Hans Jakob's parents.
You also show a copy of the Wetzikon Halthaltungsrodel for Regula Jenta, born 03.07.1781 … the notes on her death are too faint to be read with any confidence, but I guess she died in 1811. If I interpret this document correctly, Hans Jakob was born 15.05.1808 as illegitimate son of Regula - no father mentioned and he carries the mother's surname.
Have you copied the baptismal entry of Hans Jakob Jenta in 1808 - and (if yes) could you upload it?

I had a look at the baptismal and death entries for Regula:
bapt: 03.07.1781 / died: no specified date (after an entry 09.08.1811 - so we assumed same day) - but that doesn't fit the age at death (29y 10 m 0 d). After some "photoshopping" I read in the Haushaltungsrodel "starb in der Stadt Bern 3. Maj 1811" - she died in the city of Bern on 03.05.1811 - which fits with her date of birth 03.07.1781 exactly.

WSeelentag Wow, I never expected you to get ahead of me, but you have. Good for you!! 😊 I recently found those two documents related to Jakob Jenta which I had done a few years ago and never finished the work. I will do as you suggest and put Jakob's baptism and a better copy of his Haushaltungsrodel record on the same page. I will get back to you on Regula. You must be good at photoshop because I can just barely make it out. You made my day!

Sorry - I have to withdraw my comment - the Haushaltungsrodel has misled me: the notes on Regula and Hans Jakob just follow each other, they are not connected. Regula has died unmarried.
