Adding a Child using their ID number
I tried to add a child using the child's ID number. Notification received System is currently unavailable. Did not want to use birthday because it would generate a new ID number.
Comments on when this will be available? Thanks

You will never be able to add a living person using their own ID number. When you add living individuals to your Family Group Tree they will all have a different ID number from any other individual profile that you or another group member may have copied them from.
On the Administrator page it says:
and it links you to Duplicates and family group trees where it explains more about that copy process and creating duplicates.

FYI There have been updates to the Family Group Trees that now allows you to type in an ID for a living person in YOUR OWN tree and the system will add a COPY of that person to your Family Group Tree. You still cannot copy a living person's ID from someone else's tree to make a copy in your Family Group Tree.
