    Hello @nancyroberson1,

    Translation:

Left margin: Mickel, Jost, the Second. Son. Konrad.

In the year 1838, on the 5th of December in the afternoon at 3:30 pm following a credible report from Jost Mickel the Second, local citizen, that from his wife, Anna Maria, née Lenz, from Bleichenbach, a fifth child was born, a son, the second son, and on the 26th of the same month was baptized and received the name Konrad.

Baptismal sponsor was: Konrad, legitimate unmarried son of the local citizen Konrad Meissner at Glauberg, who signed the present record along with the father of the child and the pastor who performed the baptism.

    Konrad Meissner.
    Jost Mickel.
    Johann Jakob Sommerlad, Pastor.

My comment: It a tremendous help to the translator if, in addition to the name(s) of the principal(s) and the year of the record, you state where the record is from (village, town, city, parish, etc.).
