I want to first story translated about Mårtha Lisa Andersdotter. Something about her husband being exiled from Ör to North America without penalty, but the family being registered again without her husband. What happened to her husband. She was listed as a widow in later household examination records.

    Translation:

Folio 296. Märtha Lisa Andersdotter's husband, Johannes Andersson, a laborer, obtained a certificate of emigration to North America on April 8, 1869, and, according to reports, died there twelve days after his arrival. The emigration certificate included both him and his wife and children, but they did not accompany him on the journey, having remained in the Örs parish throughout, although they were not registered in any of its congregations. A written request to have the certificate returned has been sent to North America, but without result. The family has today been registered in Örs parish, at Högens farm, with the written permission of the farm owner there, Jan Olofsson from Tobräckan. See the parish archive for 1871. O. Fryxell
