It was suggested that I post my question on the group. I’m on a mission to find the burial spot of my GG Grandparents, Adam and Anna E Merritt (Rush). They’re buried in Saint John’s Cemetery, also known as German Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. It’s located in Ayers Township or Broadlands, Champaign, Illinois. I’ve checked out FS cemetery, Find a Grave, and Billion Graves, but unfortunately, none of them have any results. I do have a headstone photo from a few years back, and I’d love to double-check if it matches the cemetery. Any help you can give me in locating the cemetery would be amazing! Thanks a bunch for your assistance, Bill

    @Bill L Marshall

    what you're referring to is most likely Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, located in Broadlands, Illinois. It's in Ayers Township, Champaign County, and has historical ties to the German Evangelical Lutheran community in the area. An aireal view can be found at https://mapcarta.com/20828350/Map

    Per Google: The most definitive source for records, including plot maps and burial records, is the church office.
