There is need of a new input field

August 1811, in Konflikt.

What is rightly criticized in the source evaluation is:

The standard “Mühlbach, Neuenstein, Hersfeld-Rotenburg, Hesse, Germany” (ID: 11976318) is used for dates from 1972 onwards. This conflicts with the date of birth, August 31, 1811.

The following would be completely correct, however:

Mühlbach, Homberg district, Electorate of Hesse

Nevertheless I cannot imagine that people from Peru, Argentina, Cuba, Korea, etc. are familiar with states such as Hesse. I think we need an additional field that indicates what the town is called TODAY. Even the name Hesse, Germany would be more understandable.
I think the easiest way to set this up would be under additional
information. It's a bit cumbersome for the user and somewhat hidden, but it makes sense.

What I wish they would do and have requested a couple of times, is to have a small More Information icon next to the place name that would take you right to that place's entry in the Places database where you could see all the information, including its various names and jurisdictions through time, as currently found in that database.

Come to think of it, another option that might be fairly easy to implement right now would be to make the place ID number a link like this:

"The standard “Mühlbach, Neuenstein, Hersfeld-Rotenburg, Hesse, Germany” (ID: 11976318) is used for dates from 1972 onwards. This conflicts with the date of birth, August 31, 1811."

So that clicking the number brings you right here:

Then the user can see the standard name used for each time period.

But since that would be available only if there were a data quality flag on the place name, it would still be nice to have an icon that would have the same effect for when the displayed place name is linked to the correct standard and the user just wants to see what they might learn about the place in the database:

@Bettina58 @Gordon Collett thank you so much for the input. A ticket has been issued to look into this.
