Głomsk - name of village, currently about 480 residents, in wielkopolskie region. Use pilot.pl (equivalent to Mapa.szukacz.pl) but easier to remember and write, X the advertisements in the left margin, go on the right to Hotele and click on Ukryj to hide all Hs which are Hotel advertisement, enter the name of village/town in top box above Hotele, click on Pokaz to find this place on the map (Wyczysc = to clear). Click on the selected town/village on the map, then move (without pressing on it) the computer mouse to another place of interest to use, to see the distance in kilometers in the right lower corner of the map in the red box. Divide by 3, multiply by 2 to get distance in miles. Use circles on the right to zoom in or zoom out on the map. You may measure the ditance your ancestors had to go to their Parish Church and other villages/towns.
