Something Went Wrong. Please Try Again Later

I've been off on some projects elsewhere in Family Tree but have hit a nice place to pause on them so have decided to start with myself and go through my seven generation fan chart and clean up all the data quality flags on everyone on that chart and their children as well as adding any new hints and cleaning up any flotsam and jetsam that has appeared on their profiles since last I looked at them. I suspect I'll have a few things to post here.

The first one is, is that the very first person I started on, my paternal grandfather, had about a dozen flags. One was a "no index sources tagged to marriage" which I fixed. Several were residences that needed tags so I tagged them. A few dismissed just fine. One refused to dismiss initially but did when I tried five minutes later. Two refuse to dismiss.

Why?

Can we have a brief explanation of what that something is that goes wrong, how long to expect it to be a problem, and how long we should expect to need to wait until trying again? (Not in the error notice. That would be asking too much. But rather here in this discussion.)

It's easier to be patient when there is a known reason for needing to be.

On a possibly related matter, there were four custom sources that I created years ago that I no longer need on his record. Three deleted just fine. One gives the same error message when I try to delete it. Would this be the same or a different problem?

This morning cleared cache and cookies and tried again. Still two flags will not dismiss.

@Gordon Collett Thanks for the feedback.

Would you please give us the PID that you were working on and the flag you were trying to get rid of?

    Thanks!

Charles Capper Collett KWCZ-MPR. The two remaining flags on him about the 1950 church census (He does have two different but identical indexed records with different URLs as do the rest of his family listed with him in that census. I can't get the flag to dismiss on any of them either) and the 1900 US census (He and his son are both listed twice in that census. Once at home and once at work in Wyoming.)

As you are checking on this, can you also check on the trouble with the same type of problem with a flag that gets that "something went wrong" error that Frank Little reports in his post here?
