I didn't see these in the list. The first two are useful for people from Cosenza and they get linked a lot here anyway. I'll dump some more bookmarks later, but for now:

Looking at frequent posts in the group, I think these two videos would be good to include here. One gets referenced at times in PDF and another is an introduction to Antenati which could empower users in DIY research. I found both in the RootsTech On Demand archive. This is the first one:

This is the introduction to Antenati. Both are on FamilySearch's YouTube channel. I'd suggest new users check there and the RootsTech video playlist.

@DangKwei These look like great videos. Unfortunately, I have completed my assignment on this team and no longer have rights to make these changes. Hopefully one of the other leaders can make the change. Best wishes.

@DangKwei @Cousin Vinny @SantaNinfa Thank you for the resources! I'll leave this open for a few more days, in case there are other items to add. Then, I'll create a new list for us to review.

A few resources that I’ve found useful. Some are specific to the Papal States, with a few that have broader Italian relevance.
Repertorio completo per la circolante, sicura e sollecita corrispondenza delle Città Terre Castelli Borghi e Parrocchie dello Stato Ecclesiastico (1857)
1857 postal directory of the Papal States listing place names (cities, towns, villages, parishes).Raccolta di leggi, decreti, proclami, manifestazioni e pubblicazioni (1812)
List of towns and communes within the départements of Rome and Trasimène (modern Lazio and Umbria) during the French occupation in 1812.Leggi relative alla costituzione della Repubblica Romana (1798)
A list of place names from the first French occupation of the Papal States.French Military Records – Mémoire des Hommes
Including more than 42,000 Italians—largely conscripts from Italian territories annexed by France before 1814, as well as earlier mercenaries.PCN Toponimi IGM Map Tool
Interactive mapping website. By selecting the "Toponimi IGM" map layer, you can search for obscure historical place names that don’t appear on Google Maps.Imago Archivio di Stato di Roma – Gregoriano Maps
A digitization project (currently incomplete) that includes detailed historical maps and related property registries (Brogliardi) — for select towns within the Papal States.Tabella del riparto territoriale delle delegazioni dello Stato Ecclesiastico (1816)
Table of the territorial division of the Papal States, including population figures and information on “luoghi baronali” (baronial localities).Atlante Storico Istituzionale dell'Italia unita
Useful for tracking border changes and name changes at the frazione level or above from 1861 onward.Dizionario geografico-postale d’Italia (1863)
Geographic and postal dictionary of Italy. Useful for understanding place names in the early Kingdom of Italy.3 -
Thanks, @Pierluigi_O I'll add them to the updated list.

Forgot a big one in my previous list:
Progetto Torelli (Society of Solferino and San Martino)
Digitized registers of over 600,000 soldiers who took part in the Wars of the Risorgimento (1848–1870). Each record shows the soldier’s service number, town, full name with father’s name (but not the mother’s unfortunately), rank, regiment, and the campaigns in which he served.1 -
@Pierluigi_O Terrific! I'll have an updated list for us soon.

Another major resource for Italian research:
Presidenza della Repubblica – Onorificenze
Database of Italian honors with legal sources and award details, currently listing over 1.4 million recipients. Note: the “luogo di nascita” (place of birth) field is rarely filled and should not be relied upon.0
