We absolutely rely on the memories feature - we have loved using it. How soon will something be available - I need to access someone's photo this week.

    Hi Deb,

    All of our Memories are still here and are still available. No one's photos, stories, or other memories are going away. We are currently working on bringing you new, additional features! We are 100% expanding Memories; not doing away with them.

    If you are having difficulty finding a memory because our "Find" page is currently MIA, and you don't know where a photo is, try using a regular Google search.

    • Go to Google.com
    • Enter "site:FamilySearch.org" before any keywords you are searching for
    • For example: "site:FamilySearch.org Scott Smith" will search for all of the Scott Smiths on FamilySearch, or you can narrow the search down to Memories only with "site:FamilySearch.org/en/memories"

    P.S. If you a photo of a living person you once enjoyed is now missing, it's possible that the owner made the image "Private". This is a privacy feature, and you would need to discuss it with your family members.
