Method of searching for an artifact
In Larry Porter's noted history of the early Church in New York and Pennsylvania, footnote 74 cites "Warren Foote, 'Autobiography of Warren Foote, 1817-1879,' located in possession of Miss Kathy Foote, Provo, Utah." Attempting to find and access this artifact, so many decades later will be impossible. One would hope that Foote's descendants have by now uploaded the autobiography to FamilySearch Memories. The Find Memories feature would have made it trivial to find this artifact. Without it, I must use several additional steps to figure out who Warren Foote was, and then check attached memories. Find Memories would have been so much simpler.
This is not the only time I have used Find Memories to find artifacts.
An acceptable alternative would be exposing public memories to Google for indexing, further limited to those memories without attachments to private tree personas.
Otherwise, please bring this feature back!
