Missouri probate entry for Jenkins
I am having trouble making out some of the words; maybe someone else can read this. The record in question is on p262 [right side] and the fourth entry from the top concerning James L Jenkins and James F Jenkins. Can someone, please, transcribe what this says?
Very much appreciated!

Thanks so much for your transcription. it is pretty much what I had but you provided the words I couldn't make out.
Does anyone know what that phrase "in vacation" means? That is the only thing puzzling me about this record.

Hi @Steve Schell. This is how UNC defined it:
"Vacation is the period of time between two terms of court in a county, and it may also refer to the time during a term when the court is not actually in session, as during a recess."
