I have a copy of my aunt's Declaration of Intention. On is she states she was born in Bennedicos, Austria in 1895. I believe it was Austria-Hungary in 1895, but I cannot find that city. Any suggestions?

@patricialepine I did try to google that city. The closest I can find is Benedovo, Slovakia but I'm not sure that is correct. Yes, that is the correct memorial on Find A Grave. (I already have that information.) Thank you for your suggestions.

@Christopher Kovach_1 Thank you. That Migration Record looks very promising…

I suspect that the place you are looking for is Benedikócz which was in Sáros county, Hungary; It is now in Slovakia and called Benadikovce.

Was this family Roman Catholic or Greek Catholic?

    Thank you @Christopher Kovach_1

I believe my grandmother said they were Greek Orthodox… I remember her saying something about them celebrating Christmas on Jan. 6…
