Marketing issue: The FamilySearch Family Tree might need a new name, too.
For more than a decade now, we've been telling users that there's no "my tree" or "your tree" at FamilySearch. There's only the one tree that everyone can contribute to. And appropriately, that feature has always just been called the "Family Tree".
But when the CET feature is released, that will all change. The collaborative FSFT will probably need a more distinctive name than just "Family Tree," since there will eventually be millions of family trees at FamilySearch. And it will need that distinctive name in every supported language. It might even be a good idea for marketing to roll out that change before the CET feature is released.
For example, the FSFT could be called the FamilySearch "World Shared Tree" or "Global Collaborative Tree" in English, or something along those lines. Furthermore, if a user tries to use that same name for a CET, it should probably be blocked with an error message. (You don't want a hundred CETs that are also called "World Shared Tree".)
In contrast, I'm imagining CETs will end up being called "Personal Research Trees" or something similar when the feature is released.
