Attaching a sources to ones CTE tree
Can you attach a source to your CTE tree that is already attached to the main FamilySearch tree?
I tried to attach Violet Alicia Agnes Greaves' (PS9J-QNG) marriage record
("Massachusetts, State Vital Records, 1638-1927", FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QLGR-BXHG : Thu May 23 03:43:23 UTC 2024), Entry for Sidney Charles Lynds and Violet Greaves Richie, 12 Jan 1918.).
Clicked on Review and Attach and get this message:
We detected a possible relationship issue in the tree.
It seems unlikely that the following relationships could exist at the same time:
James Greaves (PS9N-GZ5) has a missing child.
If our analysis is correct, the historical record was incorrectly transcribed. Here is what to do:
- Review the names and relationships you see in Family Tree.
- Correct any mistakes you see
- If you know the information is correct, proceed to attach.
I know this information is correct, so I selected that.
It sends me to linker, which says this: This source is attached to someone else in NelsonFamily: James Greaves 96Q1-QBF (James Greaves 96Q1-QBF belongs to the main FamilySearch tree).

I tried it several times and the same thing. After I created this post, it is finally letting me attach it.

@CeliaSmith1 Thank you for your assistance testing the early access CET. Because it is still in a lab/testing mode, small glitches will occur from time to time and then will resolve.
