Can't replace deleted GEDCOM
I uploaded a GEDCOM today that I had downloaded from Ancestry, but then realised my private notes had been imported into the CET. I deleted the GEDCOM and created a new one in RootsMagic with the notes field excluded. Now when I try to upload the new GEDCOM I get a tree upload error that says "this file has already been uploaded". The file is not there and the amended GEDCOM has a different filename from the original.

@JeanCassidy first, let me say thank you for testing early access CET and sending your feedback. Did you also delete your CET before the 2d upload? What is the name of both your CETs and your GEDCOM files?
I will bring this issue to the attention of our engineering team.

Thank you. Yes, I deleted the first CET before I tried to upload the new GEDCOM and there are no CETs visible in my account, just the upload button. The CET was called Dodd-Cassidy, which was also the original GEDCOM filename. The new GEDCOM file was called Dodd-Cassidy_CET-FSFT.

@JeanCassidy Will you please create a new GEDCOM with a unique name and test to see if that GEDCOM will upload?

@JeanCassidy,
The system does keep track of identical Gedcom file names, even if the tree is deleted. All original Gedcoms are deleted from the system shortly after the upload is complete (we do keep them around for a little while for triage of problems and patron support, but not permanently).
If you simply rename the Gedcom file to something else the upload should proceed without a problem.Robert Kehrer, sr product mgr.

@JeanCassidy Have you been able to create a CET using a unique named GEDCOM?
