GEDCOM with 325 individuals gave error and didn't load
5 Apr 2025 My 1st time doing this:
Exported a small portion of my tree. Exported twice in case something wrong with first export. Both files did not load and gave an error.
Exported a GEDCOM file with only 125 individuals and it imported ok.
Can I import another GEDCOM with more individuals into the current tree [LANGSTON2-20250405]?
Thank you for making a non-collaberative tree available! Very exciting to be part of the testing.

@JLangston1 thank you for testing early access CET and offering feedback. No, you cannot upload another gedcom into an existing CET. That said, there is no size limit for the GEDCOM upload. When you attempted to upload the largest GEDCOM, what was the error you received? From which 3d party software did you created the GEDCOM? Which browser and operating system are you using. I think at this point in the testing, you should try to upload that large GEDCOM again so we can test it for any bugs that haven't been realized yet. You can have up to 10 CET's, so you would not have to delete any CET that you already have.

GEDCOM upload from RootsMagic10 gives this error for EVERY SINGLE PERSON:
"Some of the data in this GEDCOM file was not uploaded correctly. View imported tree differences."
Only a handful of errors actually are available to view. No notes were transferred. Many "events" did not transfer at all.

@kayhaden1 Thank you for testing early release CET and giving feedback. The engineering team is aware of upload issues using RootsMagic and are actively working on those issues. Stay tuned…
I am going to copy your comment and add it to a new discussion so that they can be tracked separately. The new discussion can be found here
