Copy of Birth certificate No. 179, dated October 8, 1907, from the Books of the Klyshin Roman Catholic Parish Church, entry No. 388 on the back of sheet 143.
On November 28, 1893, the Rector of the Klyshin Roman Catholic Parish Church, Adam Slominski, baptized a baby named Marianna, who was born on November 27, 1893 in the same Parish, the city of Klyshin - the daughter of the burghers Alexander and Rosalia, née Ostrowska, the legal spouses Savitsky (Zawidzki?). Godparents: Alexander Sidorski and Eleonora Doliska.
The authenticity and correctness of this metrical extract are certified by the seal of the Church and the signature of the Rector of the Klyshyn Roman Catholic Parish Church, Ksendz Kr.Aborovich.

Thank you again, Maria. I believe that Klyshin was actually Knyszyn. We have other documents stating this is where Marianna was born. Her parents were Alexander Sawicki and Rozalia Ostrowska. I have seen Sawicki spelled as Savitsky on other documents. I have just a couple more documents from my husband's grandparents that are in Polish that I will submit for translation in a couple of days. If I ever figure out my husband's Polish line, I will owe it to all the translations you have done for me. I appreciate all your help!
