Technical restrictions on catalog (and other parts of familysearch website) on non-standard browser?

I often access the familysearch website from the browser of a smart TV - (a Samsung Frame TV - the operating system is called Tizen). It is often cumbersome but the visualization of old documents is great thanks to the better graphic capacity of the TV monitor. Now any search that I perform through the catalog results in an error page ('Something went wrong, please refresh the page' or something like that). I did not have this issue with the old catalog search page. In fact, each time familysearch realizes a technical update on a functionality of the site, I end up losing the functionality - the same happened to the source linker, for example. This also happens if I request the desktop version in the browser configuration (in fact this does not change any aspect of the site that gets displayed on my smart TV).

Of course you might tell me to use a computer instead (which I cannot always do) - but are the developers aware of the progressive loss of functionality of the familysearch website on Tizen and maybe other non-standard browsers? Any chance this will be looked into? Is it possible to still access the old version of the catalog, while it is still up, by some parameter in the url, or some specific url address?

@Peter1,721 Thank you for your comments. I have excalated your concerns in regards to using an alternate source for your screen options.

@Peter1,721 I have escalated your issue and you can reach out directly to FamilySearch Support at this number 1-866-406-1830 or by email at: nasupport@familysearch.org Or you may be able to just connect your computer via HDMI Cable to the SmartTV. This is how I connect my computer to my TV.

There is a formal supported browsers list here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/which-internet-browsers-are-compatible Supported browsers • FamilySearch

Sorry but I don't honestly think it is reasonable to expect support for a wider range of browsers, as it would mean FS having to set up a test environment for each one. If it works for a while, fine, but it may stop working at any time.

If your 'phone or a tablet has HDMI support, maybe try connecting that (with or without the mobile app) to your TV?
