Looking for adoption records in Arizona

I know my grandfather’s father left my grandfather, his twin and my grandpa’s mother when he was just a baby. My great grandmother remarried and my grandpa’s stepfather adopted my grandpa and his twin. I’m looking for adoption records to tie in to my research on my family tree.

Additionally, I’m trying to find my grandfather’s original birth certificate and any records of my great grandma being married to my biological great grandfather. I know they would have married in Oklahoma, and the records for the adoption and my great grandma remarrying would be in Arizona.

@Karen87353 The Research Wiki has a number of resources that may be of help to you. If you select the Search option at the top of the Home Page, one of the options is Research Wiki. Select that option and in the middle of the screen is a small box where you can enter information (place or topic or both). I put Arizona Adoption in that box and selected the search button and it brought up a number of possible helps.

Also, if you are familiar with any of the Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, they are a great resource to find resources on just about any topic.

Also, DNA test can allow you to find connections that you might not find otherwise as most adoption are closed adoptions.

The FamilySearch Labs Full Text Search includes Arizona adoption records into the 1920's. You might be able to find his adoption or birth records there.
