Is there a limit of 3 adminstrators per Family Group?

I was unable to add my son as an admin. But when I removed my father, I could then add my son. Is there a limit of 3 admins? If so, can this please be changed?

Yes, the limit is 3 administrators. See How do I give administration rights in a family group.

I'm sure it could be changed if FamilySearch thought that were important. Since this Community group is designed specifically for feedback on this topic, I would assume that someone from the FamilySearch team will see this.

@ThomasGailHaws Thank you for this suggestion. @Alan E. Brown is correct that currently you can have only 3 administrators in a family group. Any member of the group can send out invitations to potential family group members and share information to the group and the group tree. Administrators can turn on or off the tree and the ability to share ordinances. They have equal power; any administrator can approve requests to join, and could remove the other administrators from their position and remove any and all members of the group from the group. Considering these abilities, why would you want to have more than 3 administrators?
