Hello All,
Excited to be a part of this group to assist each other with British research. I am first generation Canadian. Both of my parents are from England.
My Mum's family is from Yorkshire. Her aunt married a Canadian serviceman during WWII and two of her siblings joined her in Canada, my grandparents being one of them.
As my Dad says "When I was a teen my parents ran away to Canada and left no forwarding address." the truth is he was in a trades program and when he finished he joined them in Canada. My Dad's family is from Lancashire.
