My Grandfather was born 22, Oct 1893. Another family search member found a record stating he was born 10 Oct 1893. The record is in Russian, so I'm not sure why the discrepancy. Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm not a moderator here, but the discrepancy you are seeing is due to the calendar. The Russian's did not adopt the Gregorian calendar until 1918. So both dates are correct. The 10 October date is according to the Julian calendar and the 22 Oct 1893 is according to the Gregorian. I encourage you to read up on the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calendar.
