hi everyone . I am trying to trace an ancestor and his Parents/lineage . John was my 7th g grandfather born about 1714 in Stranraer wigtown scotland . I do not knoe if he was from scottish or irish origins . Any help here would be appreciated and i realise it goes back a long way , but still . best wishes to you all .
