This is my direct line ancestor. He is an interesting person: I believe one of Johannes's god parents was Pfarrer or Ottenbach Pastor Johannes Blunschli, (dean of the chapter since 1571,) who died 1604

In 1983 there were two baptisms of a Ioannes Sidler - both on the same page. Billeter got them mixed up - the husband of Katharina Kleiner and your direct ancestor is

I had a Principal who said, "Half of knowing what something is knowing what it is not." I'm leaving the wrong Johannes that Billeter thought was right but marking it as incorrect. Above correct information I marked it as correct. I also included the paragraph on how this all happened from the Forum.
