"Hungary, Church Books, 1624-1950", , FamilySearch(https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6N3M-Z52D : Sun Mar 10 20:59:26 UTC 2024), Entry for Vig György and Szikszai Márton, 4 Oct 1843.

This Gyorgi Vig was born 1798. Could he be the father of George born in 1838? Not sure spelling of wife. He must have been married some time around 1818 (based on marriage at 20 ish)

This death record is for Maria Szikszai, wife of Gyorgy Vig(ropemaker).

Oh, I thought it was the death record for Gyongyi! Now everything makes better sense! So how old was she at death?

So, even though that death record in the Mandok records, it wasn’t our Anna Csomakovics-married to Gyongyi?

maria Szikszai was 45 years old when she died.

The death record you found MIGHT be the Anna Csomakovics who was married to György Víg.

    Here's the marriage record:https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939J-1MP9-T?i=397&cat=27303

It probably is the same Anna Csomakovics. Good find on your part!

She remarried! Gyorgy died in 1863. So she married and then died in 1869. You were absolutely right about Gyorgy being married twice and Terezia was a child of the second marriage. First wife was Maria and second was Anna.

You're welcome. I don't know why I haven't been able to find the younger György Víg's death record. That would confirm some things.
