It can be useful to be able to change which spouse is displayed in the source linker even if a spouse is not displayed in the source.

For example, here I have attached a census record for a census in which every person had their own page. Because of this, the census was indexed with only with individual persons and no family relationships:

While checking the image to see this was a correct hint, I started on his page then went forward one page to check who his wife was:

It does note right there on line 3 that Synneve was his wife (Hustru). As seen above, the source linker shows me Kristianne and if I click on Change Spouse, nothing happens. The tool tip states "there are no other people on this record." This means that instead of quickly checking for other spouses in the Source Linker, I need to go back to the detail page:

While it is true that there is no spouse listed on the left side of the source linker, this should not prevent changing the spouse on the right hand side in order to fully evaluate who the Family Tree person is.

Please consider making the Change Spouse link fully functional even when the left-side source record does not include a spouse.
