Parents: Schulmeister Kaspar Jenta, Anna Wolfensperger, [both] von Etenhausen.
Godparents: Kirchenpfleger [church warden] Johann Weber von Hinwil, Regula Gujer von Tobel, Müllerin zu Kempten.
Two comments on the godmother, Regula Gujer:
She is listed as from Tobel, miller (likely wife of the …) in Kempten. Now there is no place of citizenship "Tobel" in canton Zürich - but hundreds of locations with that name, incl. one in the parish of Wetzikon, next to Kempten - where the mill is actually within walking distance.
Gujer is a widespread name in canton Zürich - but when I checked the Zürich Marriage Database, no Gujer are found - all such entries seem to have been normalised to Guyer (another widespread spelling). I have posted this to https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=33922 - let's see if any comments come in.
A comment on the spelling Wolfensberger/Wolfensperger: in the handwritten register the spelling (b or p?) is not always obvious - in most transcriptions I have therefore used Wolfensberger, the official spelling today for the citizens of Wetzikon. There are also families Wolfensperger, however, but not as citizens of Wetzikon.

What exactly does this mean?
1) Reading is free on the forum - no login required. If you click on https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=33922#p127032 you should be able to read the post. If that doesn't work, we don't have a password problem - then something else is wrong.
2) You had requested a new (temporary) password to be sent - this was done, but the mail bounced as undeliverable. Consequently the admin sent this temporary password to me and I have forwarded it via private communication in the community here … but you seem to have never tried this. Consequently I have tried to log in "in your name" … worked perfectly. Again in your name I have "subscribed" to the topic "Jenta von Wetzikon" and later posted a test response: so you should have received a mail telling you that a response has been posted to your subscribed topic. Please, check your mailbox, and let me know if such a mail has arrived. If not, there is a problem on the side of your mail service.

Kent - we don't seem to discuss along the same lines. So let's go step by step:
Reading the forum is free - no login required. Therefore, before we continue any password related issues, just click on https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=33922#p127032: you should be able to read the post on Vontobel von Pfäffikon. Can you read this - yes or no? If no: what sort of error message do you get?

I have no problem reading that page or any other. When we were talking about that topic I copied the Guyer information which I found very informative. The reason I might want to log in is so I can post questions. I'm perfectly happy to just continue reading the forum. Kent

Very good 😊. I only asked as you had written "I still can't get on the geneal forum." - just wanted to make sure there is not a general connection problem.
Now for your temporary password: nobody is still working on it - it had already been sent to you. You cannot find it in your mail folders because your mail provider (gmail) has bounced it, that is returned it as "undeliverable" … as it doesn't seem to be an incorrect address, only gmail will now why ☹.
I had therefore asked the admin to send it to me to forward it by other means: I have done so a few days ago, via this community's internal messaging. Click on the "envelope" icon (right next to your avatar): check if you can find it - and, if yes, try to log in … I had done that "in your name" and it worked perfectly.

Hello Kent,
I would like to clarify this login / communication problem asap. Reason: right now for me the most plausible explanation is a problem with gmail. Should that be the case, I would like to be sure, and issue a corresponding warning. To make sure, however, I need your help … therefore my questions:
1) Have you found your new (temporary) password as described?
2) If yes - have to tried to log in?
3) If yes - did you succeed?
4) If no - what was the error message?

- No, I have not seen the temp password
- I tried to reset my password and have the site send me a temp password. No password is received.
- It could be that Gmail views it as spam and has disallowed the password from being sent. If that is the case it could be a problem caused by me.
- However when I look at my spam the Forum message is not there. What is the name on the message sent from the Forum?

Well - as mentioned before: you cannot find a message in any of your folders as gmail bounced the mail as "undeliverable" - so it's not your fault, most likely it is gmail just blocking the mail (for whatever reason) with the fake excuse that the address is incorrect/invalid - which it is not (we've checked that).
Again, as mentioned above, I had sent you the temporary password via the internal FS messaging system - and have described how to find it. A screenshot will hopefully make it clearer: http://www.seelentags.de/delete/password-message.jpg.
Open your messages (click on the envelope icon), scroll to my message of May 10 (might not be the first one) > open it and scroll down to my message of May 9: there you'll find the new password (blackened in the screenshot).
As mentioned before, I had tried it "in your name" … has worked perfectly.
Try this - and let me know what happened.
