Daniel McCarthy
I am looking for the parents and siblings of Daniel/Danl McCarthy, born around 1837 in Trieneragh, Duagh, Ireland. I believe he died on March 8, 1888 in Knockunderval, Duagh, Kerry, Ireland. He was married to Margaret O'Donnell on February 15 1860 in Duagh, Kerry.

I looked first at the marriage record since witnesses are often close family members. It's a Roman Catholic marriage so there won't be a civil marriage record in 1860. Those have the names of fathers but not mothers.
I would suggest you look for the baptisms of the children of Daniel and Margaret and examine the names of sponsors/godparents. Those are also likely to be close family members and may lead you to the parents of Daniel. Also, look in the same parish for the baptisms of other McCarthy children in that decade. You may find Daniel as a godfather, helping to link a family together.
