Sweden - Reading the name of the farm
Adam, born 31 March 1766. His parents are listed as Johan Törnqvist and Maria Brita? Lundberg. I think the last part of the farm name is kviken. The first letter maybe an S.

I think the "farm" name may be Fristaden, although the capital F often looks different on these pages. The third record on the right-hand page has also Fristaden in a different hand.
Fristaden was the part of now central Eskilstuna that was declared tax-free in 1771 to attract small metal business owners in the beginning of the industrial era (https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fristaden).

This first book that is labeled Fristaden doesn't start until 1800.

I was able to answer my own question. Fristaden is in the above book. This is what I found.
These appears to be his parents but he isn't listed with them.
I am trying to figure out if there is another direction I need to go or other research I need to do to make sure I have the correct son with the correct parents. Here is what I know.
Adam Törnqvist married Maria Christina Hellberg - 27 April 1804. As my husband and I worked on translating the note on the marriage record it seems to be saying that he has always lived in Eskilstuna. The birth date for him is 177? on the record.
This the first clerical record I have for him. It lists his birth date as 1777 in Eskilstuna and shows Maja Stina Hellberg, born 1783 as his wife.
Is there any suggestion you have of research points I need to look at to complete the thought that Johan Törnqvist and Maria Brita Lundberg are his parents and that he was born 31 March 1776?

Yay! I am on the correct path. Now I have a note that I need some translation about Johan Törnqvist. I am trying to make it out but it seems like it is confirming his death? Adam is located almost to the bottom of the page and the note is written on the right side.

I believe the notes (which refer to Söderström and Törnqvist) refer to their knowledge of reading and the teachings of Christianity. I can't read it fully, but it names "bokläsning" (ability to read) and "Cateches" (Martin Luther's catechism), which were examined during the husförhör.

Translation: Who came here in the year 1802 from L[illa] Mellösa with a report, reads well in the book, also the Luther's and Svebilius' Catechism by heart. __? pregnant.

Their first child, Maria Lovisa, was born 2 July 1804 so Maja Stina would have been pregnant at the time of their marriage.
