This marriage record of Nils Nilsson and Ingeborg Olsdotter has a number at the bottom. Is that the age of the wife?

    @Judith Clancy Dalebout

    I read the last words of the record as:

    morgongåfva 30 lod silfver = "Morning gift" 30 Lod silver.

    For the Swedish Morgongåva see https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Swedish_Morgong%C3%A5va

    Lod is an older measure of weight that was used in many countries in Europe from the Middle Ages until the early 20th century. Most often it was defined as either 1/30 or 1/32 of a pound (or the type of pound used locally, such as the pound sterling). In grams, the lod corresponded to a weight between 10 and 50 grams, depending on the weight of the local pound.

    30 Lod silver correponds to a certain amount of money.
