Cannot see the Tree information

My cursor does not allow me to move from left to right to access the names of ancestors, I need to compact the tree(make it smaller) to see more of the information. This is very frustrating. Is there a way around this???

    The type style that is used in the new tree boxes is not as readable as the previous type style. Could you possibly revise the type style to make the characters slightly thicker (bold the characters?) to improve the readability?
