    Check the free Missouri Digital Heritage site for Missouri Death Certificates.

    @Jeffrey Carswell

    Family Tree record for Albert E. Richards (LD7S-Z3R) shows a death date of 27 Aug 1923 and a birth date of 28 Jan 1888, but the death certificate (https://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1923/1923_00027781.PDF) for the Albert E. Richards who died on this date gives a different birth date (24 Jan 1887). Birth dates on death certificates are secondary and are often wrong so this could easily be him. His spouse is shown as Leta Owens on both Family Tree and the death certificate. He is listed as being 23 y/o on their November 1911 marriage record attached as a source to the Family Tree, if he was born in January this would indicate that his year of birth was 1888, not 1887. There is still a 4 day discrepancy in the actual dates.
