Scotland Parents of William McClune
I am looking for the parents and extended family of William McClune L4JW-73M, Birth 1813 in Pennsylvania, Somerset, Pennsylvania, United States. From a My Heritage tree, his father is shown as Wm Mclune and mother as Mariah, but there are no sources to back up this information.
I did find a marriage record for potential parents in Find My Past in 1830 Scotland, although the bride's name is Betty. I searched Scotland's People and found nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.

@Donald Ray McClune There are a lot of sources for William; however, looking through Ancestry, I can see am 1820 census but the name was a different spelling. I did see a ship log for McClune that was from Ireland. Have you looked into Irish records or do the census records you have stated father born in Scotland?
This is a tough record to search without knowing more information.
