How to add someone to my tree that already exists in Family Search.
I have tried adding my wife and her family to my tree using the number family search generates for each of us, and I've had no luck....I added her but had to create another entry, this I believe creates a duplicate of the person.....how can I avoid that.?😕

This is by design: profiles for living people are only visible to the account that entered them. The collaborative Family Tree starts with your deceased relatives.

@medardoalbertozepedaarias1, the procedure you did is correct. For privacy issues, the profiles for Living people are only visible to the person who created them.

Adding duplicates for living persons that connect to their deceased ancestors is the current method. You will not be able to input another living persons id in your tree view - because their living person id is in their personal private living space - you can only add a duplicate. At Rootstech 2023 it was announced that there will be a new feature implemented to share these IDs - getting rid of these duplicates - but that is yet to be done.
