    Hi,

As I entered the Scotland Community Site, I was told that I was new. I need assistance with editing the profiles of a grand-dame and grand-sire whose FSID are listed below. Your assistance with the editing of the two profiles would be much appreicated as I am at an impass and don't have the skills to complete the editing.

I have learnt that I am related to a number of prominent Mormons, which was surprising to me. This is emphasized in Relative Finder.

I have done 3 dna tests: My Heritage, Ancestry and FTDNA. I had a number of questions that I wanted to answer. Those questions are all but answered. The one that hasn't been answered is pertaining to my Australian Indigenous ancestry which is between 1-2% so this would mean that my Australian Indigenous ancestry is before 1788.

I have proven with the assistance of maternal cousins that I have American Indigenous ancestry which is Powhatan Nation this month but I don't know my linage. Before my DNA tests, I only knew of the allegation of American Indigenous Ancestry. Once I did the tests and commenced with Gedmatch, I was able to confirm kinship with the Ancient American Indigenous.

What I did suspect but couldn't prove until I took dna tests was that I am a descendant of the Old Royal and Noble lines of Europe and Asia. The first of these dynasties that was proven was Royal Stewart as I was attempting to find the linage of one of my maternal grandfather's grand-dames.

I have been editing the 'recommended tasks' pertaining to my family's profiles and have two ancestral profiles that I cannot edit appropriately so I need some assistance.

The two profiles that I have are with the following FSID G8Z3-CVG (a 5th GGM) and G8Z3-CVG (a 6th GGF).

The issue with my grand dame is that she had a sister who died before her and the Familysearch Tree isn't able to differentuate between the two profiles and I am unable to separate them.

The second issue with my grandsire is that there are numerous listings of him and with him having numerous wives. I have encountered this problem on numerous genealogical sites on the internet and as I don't properly know his family group, I am unable to rectify this issue of multiple wives with children.

    Joanne.

    Hi Joanne

Thank you for asking your questions.

A really good place for this question would be on the FamilySearch Community Home page under FamilySearch Help and then Family Tree. There are a lot of folks there who would be a better fit for helping you with your questions as this is more of a family tree issue. https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/family-tree

    Kind Regards,

    Shannon
