Can't Find Birth Place
I cannot tell what my ancestors birth place is. It was indexed as Hvarf.
Please look for Erik August Andersson August 21, 1868.
If anyone could let me know that would be great. Thank you

I also think it says Hvarf -> could very well be Varv in modern spelling.

When I look up Hvarfs online I am not seeing that it is an area of Sweden?

Because Hvarf is the old spelling and Varv is the new spelling. [and the really old spelling in 1293 was Huarf], not that any pronunciation changes occurred, just different spelling conventions.

"Hvarfs Norrgård" means "Hvarf's [Varv's] North-Farm" and is the name of the farm, they were living when Erik August was born in 1868.
Varvs socken = Varv's parish.
