Looking for the Birth Year of my 2x Great Grandfather
I've been looking for the birth date of my 2x Great Grandfather for a few weeks now and I've had no luck, so I thought I should ask here.
My 2x great grandfather, Syed Gada Hussain was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He had 6 children with his first wife, and 6 with his second wife. I haven't got any dates for his first 6 children except the birth of his first grandson, the son of his 3rd child, in March, 1916. His first child with his second wife was born in July, 1911, and his last was born in April, 1923. Keep in mind that the minimum age of marriage in Islam is 15 for men. He was a deputy collector in Ghazipur but I only found him in the East India Company list of Deputy Collectors in the years 1920 and 1921.
He died on August 30th, 1928 in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

If you have access to Ancestry, go to "Search" at the top of the page, and then go to "Search Public Trees". Put in "Syed Gada Hussain" and his death year and death place, and click "Enter". This is what should appear. Then click "The Rizvi-Zaidi-Kazmi Family Tree". I hope you can find what you are looking for. There is even a picture of him, both wives are listed along with the children. A father is listed but no mother. PaulaAnn

@ZainRaza Here are a few additional things I thought to try.
--Catalog. You can access the FamilySearch catalog by clicking Search, then Catalog. In the place field, I entered "India." Then I clicked the blue link "Places within India" then I clicked "Uttar Pradesh."
