I forgot to add that if you know that a person lived on a specific farm in the parish, you can ask for information concerning that individual from that place. Sometimes the farm books have an alphabetical index of individuals and it is fairly simple to try to locate the person in the book. If there is no alphabetical index to the book, then looking for the person in a specific farm is possible, but will take a bit more time.
However, if you only know a name, but not the farm, then it would take too much time to look through the entire book to try to find the individual.
