Please read. I am interested in the witness Inger Jensdatter from Vester Lem. I think it gives her relationship to the mother on line before her name.

The word appears quite often on this page. I believe it is "navnlig" which means "named, ycleped, called, by name, of the name of" according to this 1861 Danish-English dictionary on page 207: https://books.google.com/books?id=S4gCAAAAQAAJ&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false.

"Ycleped" really is a word! It means "to call by the name of". I had to Google it because I thought it was a typo: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/ycleped#:~:text=(transitive)%20archaic,Word%20origin

    Thank you.

What do you think the two words after Testes: are? I have my idea but I am not sure I am correct.

The same words appear on several other images, but one on image 270 (entry for 18 February) is the clearest. The words after Testes are "konens søster = "the wife's sister".

That's what I thought it said. I wanted to be verified. I am trying to find the birth of the mother through witnesses at christenings. Now Inger Jensdatter is a certain sibling! Thank you.
