Is everyone getting the error message on Review: "Unable to Save Changes"?
Is there a glitch that is causing everyone to get the error message "Unable to Save Changes"?
It tells me to Refresh the screen but that doesn't fix the problem. I have tried to review many times today and keep getting the same notice.

I tried again a few minutes ago and instead of clicking on Refresh, I tried Cancel and had some success!

I just had success with using Cancel. You have to redo whatever you were trying to do when you get the message, but I managed to finish a page. Thanks for the tip about using Cancel.
Update: I just got stuck on one page where cancel didn’t get me past the problem. I had to give up on that page and try another.

For all in the thread, yes, we have been instructed to click on "Cancel" and keep reviewing the family. I'm so glad that you all figured it out. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Why do I get error message when attaching 1950 Census to some people? I may have, for example, 5 in a family, I can review and attach their 1950 Census info except one of them will say "error message" and not allow attachment. Seems to be random, several attempts bring the same error message. So I have to go to Ancestry, get the same Census record, and "and source" to the FamilySearch.org detail page of the person who keeps showing an error.
2nd Q on 1950 Census: some residents in Weber County, Utah seem to be in a black hold, unavailable on familysearch.org, yet I can find their records through Ancestry.com, for example, Leonard Nephi Berghout of Ogden shows up fine in Ancestry but not in familysearch.org. There are many others. Is there a problem with Weber County residents in Utah on familysearch.org that others have noticed?

@darrelthompson19, the error message you are getting for one individual not being able to attach, the engineers are aware of the issue. A workaround for this is if you have the Family Tree App, you can finish the attachment from there.
You second question about not being able to find some individuals when searching in Utah, the engineers are also aware of this issue and working on it. Hopefully it can be corrected soon.

I'm finding that if I have to enter a new street name, no amounts of "cancel" will allow me to continue.

I tried the tip to click on Cancel instead of Refresh, but I'm still getting Unable to Save Changes. Frustrating. Any other ideas?

So will this issue be fixed? Still happening to me too. Clicking cancel does work though!

@JudithJacksonHarris, are you clicking on "Cancel" and then clicking on "Next"? I haven't had any problems with being able to continue to review that family after clicking on Next.
@KRistow, I haven't had an issue with putting in a new street address and continuing. Are you clicking on "Next" after you "Cancel"? Could you provide a screenshot of this issue? Thank you.

@Teri Luna, engineers are aware and working on it Thank you for your patience.

Sample Error - Family is on 8th st, 8th is not in the list.
Type in S. 8th, click next, get the error, click cancel, click next, get the error, click cancel, click next .....
Maybe I'll just take a break from this for a week or two, until your tech people figure it out.

I have had the issue especially with households that continue on a 2nd page. Clicking cancel did not correct the issue.

I have also had the same problem when no amount of "cancel" will work. Mostly when households continue onto the next page, but I've had it with typing in new street names as well.

I had the message at least 4 times tonight on two different browser. Since I read these responses after I had the error, I did not try cancel. I spent considerable time entering information for NOTHING and have quit for now. If the continues to happen, I will just let someone else do the checking. It is not worth it to deal with these errors!

For all in this thread, I have just learned that the issue with Unable to save changes should be resolved now. If you have any further problems, please reach out again. Thank you all so much for all that you are doing!

It still isn't working with Montana's last few households that cross the page.

@KathrynAS, thank you. It has been reported with several states. Just when we think we have it!
