Census page listed in wrong State
I am reviewing families in the State of Texas. Do you skip or record a Family Review page when the listed census page is in the wrong State? I have had numerous District of Columbia pages listed in the State of Texas.

I just completed family groups for two pages that were "Ohio" enumerations. As I was closing it out, I discovered they were really from Washington, D. C. I am sorry that I didn't get the ED #s, but the streets were Hamilton Street NW and Benning Road.

I've seen that too. I did a family or name review from DC, and it was actually for Virginia. It came up in my completed file as VIrginia, not DC. But I've seen DC in Ohio, Oklahoma and other locations as well.
My guess is, that once it's completed it will be filed to the proper location. I've also noticed that despite 6 or 7 percent Indiana only shows 65 percent complete. I assume there are other records scattered throughout as well for Indiana in other states. All other records show 66% or more complete. Based on my math, that's what it should be, as with two of three sections completed that's what it should be.

@KayWeiss and @MSCHNEP, I understand that you are seeing different states. Would you mind reporting that in Feedback for the states you see this in? Do this on the home page of the 1950 census in the Feedback on the left side of the page.
The good thing is, if we see this is a problem after it is published, then we can correct it at that time. Thank you so much for all that you do to make sure the records are correct!

@tonygriffin, please report the issue and then continue to review the page. It will be corrected behind the scenes. Also if any are missed, we will be able to correct those after they are published. Thank you for making the engineers aware!

I think I only did one or two. One was labeled District of Columbia but was in VA. After I finished it the contribution showed Virginia though. Though I haven’t done many DC records I know that they are all over the place. I’ve seen them in Ohio; Indiana, Delaware. I haven’t seen this so far with anything else with the exception of the mislabeled DC record. Interestingly it only seems to be with DC for the most part, at least from my experience.

While I am reviewing I will also keep a close eye and report any that I see. Thank you again.
