Apt #s Pulling from Previous Row

@HollyLee2 , Have you reported the issue? If not, could you please report it. I hadn't heard about the apt numbers being pulled from the previous row. Please hang in there and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

@AndLinda - I have reported it each and every time in the hopes that the line/row will be corrected - sometimes 2-3 times per sheet. It doesn't happen each time but most often when, for example, Line 22 has an apt # but Line 24 doesn't - it will pull the apt # from Line 22 (even if the House # is different). If I remove it from Line 24, I believe it will be removed from Line 22 as well. So, I report it in the hopes that someone with more editability (is that a word? haha!) will correct it. It also can happen with the House # box, especially if there is no house # on the next line or two. Thanks for your response!

@HollyLee2, you are welcome. Keep up the great work! And do the best you can.

This problem popped up shortly after they first tried to correct a similar problem with the surname. Just keep reporting the problem when it occurs, as you (and I) have been doing, so it gets bumped up on the software engineer's list of things to work on.
Although it is frustrating, at least this field is not a searchable one that will cause problems for researchers if it isn't fixed before FamilySearch publishes the Index.

@MinnWisRoots - I completely get that. I just know that some folks/researchers out there love every tiny bit of info they can find so I hope it's corrected for their sake. Thanks for your response 😊

HollyLee2 I might suggest that those that "love every tiny bit of info they can find" DEFINITELY need to use this index for the purpose it was created - to LEAD them to the actual census page where they will find many more 'tiny bits.'
(the actual PURPOSE of an index. 😊) SOURCES, SOURCES, SOURCES!!
