1950 US Census in Utah
My family is on the 1950 US Census in Utah. I can find the record on Ancestry. I cannot find it on FamilySearch! I have gone to family member's person page and clicked on FamilySearch to look for it. It is nowhere to be found! Help!

Use the ED and page info from Ancestry to find the same record on FS. Not every record can be found easily in a name search.

Could you explain how I do that? (use the ED and page info to search on FamilySearch).

If you will give me the link to what you found on Ancestry, it will be easier because then I can show you specifically how to do it.

I am just wondering where to go on FamilySearch to find my family on the Utah 1950 US Census. I can find them on Ancestry, but I would like to know HOW to search for them on FamilySearch. I have tried starting from a person's page on FamilySearch and clicking on "Search Records" then "FamilySearch" but that doesn't get me to them on the 1950 US Census. I am beginning to wonder if their sheet/page of the census got overlooked somehow!!

If you share details, we might be able to help. At this point, we don't have enough information to assist.

@Mary Louise Lillian, the engineers are aware of what you are experiencing with not being able to find your family doing the name search. There are a couple thousand images in each state that had the bad gridline issues, so this may be the problem. We are waiting to hear. Thank you for your patience. They didn't get overlooked. And it will get fixed.
If you want to search in the documents themselves as was suggested to you, you can do that.
Click on "Browse all 1 images" It will bring you to the map. On the left on "Places within" scroll and then click on Utah. This will give you places within Utah to pare it down. Up in the right corner of the map you can click to hide the map so you can see more easily what you are looking for. You will be able to see the ED of your particular place.
I hope that this helps. Please reach out again if you are having trouble and @Áine Ní Donnghaile, I or someone else will be happy to assist you. Thanks for all that you are doing!
