Am I allowed to enter new info to Family Search based on information in the 1950 Census info?
I often research a person's name/ family in Family Search or Ancestry to gather info that may help confirm spelling, etc. I found a man marked as widower in the 1940 census, and in the 1950 census, he has a new wife and child. How can I see that this new information gets recorded to him in FamilySearch? Can I do it myself just filling in what I know and cite the census? I hate to find puzzle pieces and just leave them on the table!
