People not at home in the 1950 US Federal Census
I found my grandmother's residence (807 SW 14th Ave) in the 1950 US Census of Portland, Oregon (ED 37-671, sheet 4), but her information is given as "No one at home | See sheet 73, line 6". There are only 19 sheets in this Enumeration District. Where do I find sheet 73?

Sheets starting with number 71 were used for those not at home, probably based on the maximum size of any ED (70 pages or under). Look for the 71 and up in the top right corner of the sheet. Don't worry about the number of images in the ED, but the sheet numbers.
Sheet 73 is image 12 on Ancestry's version: https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/62308/images/43290879-Oregon-103904-0012

Thank you! I found her. It didn't help that that census taker butchered her last name. (Lycell instead of the correct Lyall, and that I had the wrong apartment number, 5 instead of the correct 15.)
